The
Doshikai Kendo & Iaido dojo was established in Acton, Massachusetts
in 1994, and is a member of the All United States Kendo Federation
under the regional direction of the Eastern United States Kendo
Federation.
Our Iaido Style:
The
focus of every iaido student is on correct form and basic movements.
This foundation is practiced in the All Japan Kendo Iaido forms
formally called the Seitei Gata. There are twelve kata in all. After
each student becomes proficient in these kata, they then begin the
koryu style. At Doshikai we focus on the Muso Jikiden Eishen-Ryu style.
